Community guidelines

What we expect from every member, and what you can expect from us.

Draft guidelines for development. Final text requires TargetBay approval before launch.

Share real experience

Only review products you received through the program and actually used. Do not invent, exaggerate, copy, or generate product experiences with AI tools or anyone else.

Be honest

Tell readers what worked and what didn't. Positive and negative opinions are equally welcome. Brands and staff will never ask you to change your opinion or raise your rating.

Disclose sponsorship

Every review must disclose that you received the product free. The portal adds the disclosure for you. Don't remove or obscure it if you share your opinion elsewhere.

Be respectful

No harassment, hate, personal information about others, or unsafe advice. Keep feedback about the product.

One account per person

Duplicate accounts are not allowed. One participant per household per campaign is the initial policy. If that affects you, contact support so staff can review an exception.

Campaign obligations

When you accept a product, you agree to the tasks and deadlines shown in the offer. If something gets in the way, such as a missing product, damage, or a product you can't use safely, contact support. Approved exceptions carry no penalty.

Moderation and appeals

Staff check every review against the Review Policy, which follows the same moderation standard retailers like Walmart use: no personal information, links, health claims, or content that isn't about real use. Your rating is never a reason for rejection. If a correction is requested, you'll see a neutral reason and can ask for help or appeal through support.
